After the massive demonstrations on 11th September 2012 which saw some 1.5 million people filling the streets of Barcelona in favour of the right to a State of their own, Catalans will celebrate once again our National Day.
Here in Melbourne we will gather at Casal on the 15th of September. During the event we will show the history of La Diada and a recap of the Via Catalana and La Diada in Catalunya. We will also take this opportunity to play the video with our Via Catalana and we will sign the Catalan anthem ‘Els Segadors’ drinking a toast with cava and enjoying the Catalan cuisine.
